This kind of topic requires alot of research and evidence, even though its an argument you (according to some) cannot win, or lose. I would have written alot more as this is a persuasive piece.

I wouldn't use the word "smack" so much. If i counted correctly, It was used 21 times. Get a thesaurus. And I don't think that you really picked a topic with much risk to it. You aren't really making a radical statement by saying children shouldn't be hit.

Although I don't agree with you on this subject, you wrote a decent essay.Except there were a few contradicting points... Like saying that it was great for medicinal use, then telling the reader it will give you cancer.The conclusion was well thought out

I am in CGC2D, a Canadian course, and I have already written the exam, however, I STRONGLY recommend this for grade 9's or grade 10's who haven't taken the exam. Mine was very similar, and this would have saved me alot of time.
