I think that the wording and detail in this essay are good, especially in light of its short size. However, it is hard to gather what is the purpose of the essay, or even what is the exact topic of discussion. You can get the name of the described work from the title, but it really should have at least started with something like "In so-and-so's painting, 'xyz' we find..."

Nicely written opinion piece. It flows well and has great phrasing and tone. My only complaint is a lack of sources, which is essential when you have quotes and stats.

Clear and well written. My only concern is the usefulness of such an essay... it is rather specialized (info about a certain degree at a certain school) and may be difficult to apply to many people. It starts off like an essay, but then ends up sounding like a brochure from the college.
