  • What is the authors contribution?

This entire thing is an Harvard Business School case and the author has contributed nothing to the case. Its just a reproduction of the case and no inputs in any form from the author are present here.

The essay has true contributions from the author.A better title would have gone well with the essay.

  • Author's contribution?

Nothing much from the author's pen, i guess. The topic needs insight into the business requirements and OB concepts.

  • What's your feeling?

The essay gives details about two art pieces, but the author does not analyse and put them in the author's perspective.A moderate piece of work!

  • A misnomer?

The title of the essay is not in tune with the content; change either of them. The topic is such a huge one and nothing has been detailed here the supply demand equations, the concepts of how one is affecting the other in US job market etc.,For a bachelor, not even a half baked cake!

  • Poor research!

The essay gives no perspective on the issue of adjusting to terrorism but for the increased checking at airports and putting more troops at border! How about some differential diagnosis and looking at the psychological factors & the root causes as well.

  • No relation to the title!

1)The essay summarises well the 6 strategies of business of Starbucks and general marketing principles and strategies.Well, its all available on the net.2)There's no relation to the title as the essay does not look indepth into the marketing strategies of Starbucks.

  • Where's the data?

    1) The tables included in the text are all unreadable, the data should have been attatched as a doc.2) The essay is too old 2006! Two years since a lot has changed in the global economy with sub-prime crisis catching the US market by its throat and the bull-whip effect spreading to the globalized economy.3) Investment decision criteria should be more exhaustive and long term in perspective, think about it.All in all a good essay, but not for present times.

  • Can't you do it better?

A bachelor's paper! I expected more; its all superficial. You need to look at issues minutely and then come up with specific strategies rather than just saying cultural,legal....etc., issues.
