This essay is a very good resource. While it is packed with lots of information, it is organized in a way that makes it easy to find what you are looking for. This essay would be great for a research paper.

Some of the wording used makes the essay very informal, such as "blah blah blah" and the deletion of parts of the paragraphs. If this essay was written for a teacher, who would be a formal audience, parts would need to be rewritten. I thought there was a lot of insight into the balance between conventional and nonconventional pieces. Although, I thought some of the points should have been more developed.

I think this essay is very well analyzed. It really outlines the deeper meaning of the story. However, I think the essay summarizes the book too much instead of focusing on the thesis: the symbolism of the house.

The essay needs a more explanatory thesis in the beginning. It is hard to tell exactly what is being argued until you get to the last paragraph. Perhaps one of the sentences in this paragraph could be moved to the top in order to state the purpose of the essay.
