I wrote this essay and received a hd1 (high distinction 1) which is the highest grade one can get. It was for year 9 philosophy in Australia

One of the main tools Descartes used was listing all the things he could not doubt. He started with what he could see, but decided he could be imagining it. He moved on to mathematics and again decided it could be doubted, man kind may have been getting it wrong the whole time. The only thing he could not doubt was that he thought, the thoughts could be wrong but they existed none-the-less.The essay was really great.
