Nice topic... very controversial... your paper started off strong with evidence and examples, but ended rather weakly with your own stories... the paragraph structure towards the end got to be awful... 1 sentence long paragraphs is pretty crazy.. and some transitional sentenced linking the essay smoothly together would be great...

I agree... I thought that while the information contained in the essay was good, but you need to back up your information with some evidence... instead of just what you personally think... you need to approach the paper in an un-biased paper present both sides of the arguement.. and then you can defend the side of the arguement you most agree with and try to sway the audience into your corner... so overall i think it should be further developed or built upon a substantial amount into an even better essay...

Good essay... you made a lot of interesting points... however being a senoir in college you should work on your essay structure... it seems like there is only two paragraphs to this essay... there should be an a)intro, b) body, and c) conclusion at least... so try to work on that before college or else teachers will rip you apart... just break up that first paragraph and you'll be fine... nice job!

Fine job... despite the fact that this essay might be very opinionated this essay is very thorough and the author makes a lot of interesting points... maybe it's an opinion piece... you have to keep in mind that these students writing reports and not reporters for a news paper who owe it to report un-bias news to society... these writers are writing essays.. which may be based on their opinions... it all depends on what the assignment entailed.. so therefore i dont think that you are in any position to judge them based upon how you think their paper should be written in reference to opion and showing/not showing bias...

This paper is ok for a lower level instituation, but it makes a lot generalizations that aren't true for Ie. "For every gene I got from my father I have one that I got from my mother, even though most people argue that I look just like my mother." - this isn't true... some genes are sex linked, and can only be inherited by males... some genes are epistatic - and one trait may mask another trait... some genes show incomplete inheritance... partial inheritance etc... this paper also fails to mention recombination or mutation - random change in DNA... so not all genes such as hair color are in fact inherited from your parents... any scientist would rip this paper apart because its not very thorough... sorry.
