  • Hahahahahaha

Intially i thought this is crap. Then, i realise (and HOPE).. ur intention for this is to generate humour. I thought of saying "yesh, and bird goes 'tweet'." then i figured this is creative in its own right. So what the heck: The seriousness of the tone and diction used to describe something simple brings out the humour. Although i doubt everyone will appreciate it.

  • Bravo....

Somehow this piece is rather poetic. It really brings out questions that normally people put aside and as you said, take for granted. The intro really got my attention. Although you never really mentioned what language is all about, You managed to turn a simple topic to a master piece in your own right with the elaborate use of words. Nice job =p

  • A liittle too strong.

It's a highly opinionated essay. Don't get me wrong. Readers will be able to feel ur emotions through it. But it is a little too strong for a proper essay...Too much colloquialism . I personally like it though.

Anti-climax. It would have been a good story if you had continued. The ending was kind of abrupt.

  • Nice...but...

The essay is very organise but i really don't get the relevance of you mentioning the structure and rhyme scheme to the meaning of the poem. And i kinda think you summerise and translate the poem more than analysing it. I guess it's excellent and helpful for those of us who have no idea what the subject matter of the poem is all about. God knows this is heaven sent for that matter. But as a critical appreciation you could improve it even more if you analyse it further. I did this poem as an unseen text before and i was wondering if you're talking about the persona the poet present himself to be or Thomas himself? But i really like the personal touch you add to it at the end though. Good job on that. ;o)

  • Oh-kay....

If you are doing the play for your own leisure, i guess its ok. But as a critical appreciation of the play, it seriously lacks depth. What about the reversal of roles? Nature of gentility? Town versus country? Concepts of deception? These are amount other thematic concerns of the play. Other characters such as Tony Lumpkins and Constance also play an important role in the developments of plots.

  • Ok..

The gist of it is somewhat there. But could be a much more interesting piece if there is more of the thought process seen. Maybe more elaboration and example?

Not much analysis done. It's very narrative. should link it to the gothic element, the use of religious images and the fact that it is a mock epic poem.

  • This paper rocks

This is really good. There's a level of maturity in thought that is rarely seen nowadays. A plus factor goes to the fact that it has ben well researched. Anyways..i thought u should elaborate the way Charles Dickens feel about women of the Victorian era a bit more.. overall..u rock!! ;o)
