Abortion Should Be Legal Abortion being illegal or legal has been an issue for many years. Some people think it should be illegal and some think it should be legal. I think abortion should be legal for many reasons. For one thing, abortion is a woman's choice and nobody else. Nobody has the right to make her do something that she does not want to. When women lose their right to choose abortion they may start performing them illegally. They can choose to commit suicide so the fetus will die. They can also take drugs or eat unhealthy food. This can do dangerous harm to their bodies. If abortion was illegalized, it can harm a child. The mother can be young and inexperienced or too poor to take care of the child. The child would be malnourished, has no medical care, and no love from their parents. This can lead the child to commit crimes and do harm to the society.

Abortion MemorialAlso, what if a woman was raped? It was not her choice to have a baby. This will ruin her life if she cannot abort it. As I said before, this will lead the child to be abused and neglected. I believe many people try to force their beliefs on others and judge them for their actions. These people need to judge themselves before they start to judge others. Abortion is an issue of women and so it should be the woman's right to choose. Abortion being legal will protect the mother, child, and society.
