Report of a Questionnaire Study

Introduction

Slimming, often known as weight loss, in the context of medicine, health, or physical fitness is a reduction of the total body mass, due to a mean loss of fluid, body fat or adipose tissue. Over the past few years there has been a "slimming revolution", with the rapid development of urban modernization, this phenomenon is not something new and seems to be inevitable especially for the college students. Ever since people's life-style has changed to a great extent, the growing popularity of people has paid more attention to slimming, struggling with the issues of weight loss and living a healthier life-style regardless of whether they've reached the level of obesity. There are many advantages to losing weight and getting a healthy body.

Not only will losing weight help give you the slim and lean body you've always wanted, but it will also keep away a number of obesity-related diseases you may have acquired due to being overweight.

The paper is designed to offer some tangible evidence to present the results of a questionnaire on the attitudes of college students toward slimming so that we can find out whether we have some views and misunderstandings in the process of sliming which are likely to affect the quality of our daily life. This paper reveals the analysis result of some chosen questions which are all relevant to the topic, thus this paper aims at showing with individual angles that the students themselves or the students around them who are experiencing slimming have their own experience and foremost feelings.
