(DEAN Inc.) is a financial credit card customer service center located in Orlando, Florida. Customer service representatives make up the majority of personnel employed at DEAN Inc, and their primary function is providing services over the telephone to credit card holders in need of assistance. The customer service representatives provide support during business hours between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday, excluding holidays. DEAN Inc. is a successful company that maintains a diversified workforce.

The workforce at DEAN, Inc. consists of 6 supervisors, 3 managers, and 120 employees. DEAN, Inc. voluntary complies with affirmative action plans, and takes pride in being an equal opportunity employer. Women and minorities are 57 % of the workforce. The Human Resource Department at DEAN Inc. uses standard Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) measures to ensure that there is no discrimination against any employee or applicant on the basis of race, color, religion, sex or national origin (Bennett-Alexander, 2001, p.

The desire to keep the workplace free from hazards and mishaps enabled DEAN Inc. to implement policies and procedures that enable upper-management to keep all employees informed, and prepared for any safety threats that may occur in the workplace.
