The Internet and it's Future

An easier way of life is on it's way. It will allow more tasks

to be accomplished in less time. The internet is constantly

changing for the better and will soon be the world's most useful

communication tool, educational resource and entertainment

centre. It will be accessible by anyone, anywhere. It will be

needed in order to accomplish ordinary everyday tasks. New

technologies will make it a powerful and useful tool. The internet

will soon link the whole world together.

Everyday it is becoming easier to become connected to the

internet. There are 'all in one' software packages, which can be

installed onto any computer and have it connected to the internet

within minutes. You can also go to Cafes, outlets and computer

stores that allow customers to 'surf' the internet from their store.

A person pays a flat rate and has access to a very fast connection

and assistance that is never further than a shout away.

All that is

needed is a computer, a modem, and a phone line. There are

many advertisements in newspapers and on television which

allow you to be connected with one phone call to the ISP

(Internet Service Provider). Even well known companies such as

Microsoft and Bell Canada have started to provide internet

access, this is good because people can trust these companies and

can expect top notch quality.

Many people will have no choice but to connect to the

internet. In order to complete everyday tasks, you will have to be

online. All banking services will soon be performed online,

programmers and bankers are working on ways to revolutionize

our daily habit of spending money. These people hope that we

will soon be submitting electronic payments over the internet

rather than dropping coins into...
