WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE AMERICAN

America is a place and a symbol. The term "American" is also symbolic. To be American also stand's for beliefs, the music, as well as the people that come from this great nation. The people of this great nation. Speak all languages from around the earth. The beliefs of the American people come from all over this great world, from the furthest corners of Africa to the urban areas of America. Americans believe in pride , freedom and equality. To be a American means to be prod of freedom and individualism, the term also means to stand up for what you believe in and fight for it.

As I write this tonight I think about what qualities I have as an American. I try to stand up for what I believe in and be a man of my word.

So as I leave you with this thought I hope...
