This paper touches all the aspects of greed, selfishness and God's view about that.
In the film Wall Street it says, "The point is, ladies and gentlemen, that greed , for lack of a better word is good. Greed is right. Greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Greed , in all its forms-- greed for life, for money, for love, for knowledge-- has marked the upward surge for mankind, and greed, you mark my words, will not only save Teldar paper, but that other malfunctioning corporation called the U.S.A." This quote is false. An attitude of greed can consume ones lifestyle eventually leading to the destruction of many spiritually and morally.
Greed is a dirty sin that separates us from God and prevents us from being holy. In Mark 7:21-23 it states, "For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts... greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander... All these evils come from inside and make a man 'unclean.'" In the Old Testament the 'unclean' were people who were dangerously diseased or had come in contact with something 'unclean.' These people had to be separated from the rest of Israel. To be 'unclean' with greediness is similar to being diseased. Not only are those separated from God, but they also have helped infect others in America.

In some countries our unwanted possessions are almost impossible for them to obtain. This makes us extremely discontent and always wanting more. The second reason is the opinion of others mean so much to us. What other people think tends to rule our world. If you want to impress people and make them like you, having...
