Babe is a drama comedy movie that is a heart-warming story by the director, Chris Noonan. It is about an ordinary pig that goes great lengths to find acceptance in life. The fantasy film follows the tale of Babe, a pig who defies destiny by daring to be a sheep dog.

At farmer Hoggett's farm there are a lot of farm animals. Each animal has a job to do and they must do it well. So how did Farmer Hoggett get Babe? Well it all starts when Farmer Hoggett and Mrs Hoggett win Babe from a guess the weight contest. Thereon he has no idea how much a little piglet's open mind and big heart would affect the lives of everyone. When Babe approaches the farm he meetsFerdidane a duck, who wants to be a rooster, Fly a sheepdog, who raises Babe as one of her own and Maa a shepp, who is Babe's greatest freind.

All the animals grow to accept Babe and he loves them back.

The annual sheepdog trial soon approaches. With Rex the sheepdog and Fly both hurt, Farmer Hoggett doesn't know what to do. Rather reluctantly, he decided to send Babe a "sheeppig" instead.

Babe the movie is in a countryside setting with talking animals. This symbolic farm does not relate to any particular place or time. The little piglet makes the impossible possible. There are a wide variety of film techniques; one of these include animals talking which is done by animatronics and computer generated imagery. The point of view shots make you as one of the animals on the farm and the voices make the animals realistic.

Babe is a straight, to the point movie with lots of drama inbetween. It is the animals that really make the movie...
