StrengthsI believe that teamwork is one of my strengths because according to Kinlaw (1993) "being part of a team is one who unites others toward a shared destiny through sharing information and ideas, empowering others and developing trust." My ability to interact, communicate and cooperate with a group will enable me to be an effective member of a team and work towards a common goal.
I believe that teamwork is important when teaching because it allows all students and teachers to work and cooperate together with the aim of reaching a common objective. DePree (1999, p.11) defines this as "the key elements in the art of working together are how to deal with change, how to deal with conflict, and how to reach our potential...the needs of the team are best met when we meet the needs of individuals persons."It's said that having a clear and expressive voice is a key element that a teacher has to have.
