Why would a young Nigerian man want to leave Nigeria and come to America?

Hitherto my arrival at the usa, I recall my feelings of being caught up in a reverie of years long past. My ambition of leaving Nigeria and coming to the usa was fervid and I wondered if it was ever going to come to pass.

Nigeria is a country in west Africa, next to Chad, Benin, Cameroon and the Atlantic Ocean. The size of Nigeria is as big as four times the size of the united kingdom, or bigger than the entire state of Texas, and has a population of about 120 million people. The environment of Nigeria differs a great deal in the different parts of the country. The cost line consists of sand dunes and, around the delta of the river Niger, swamplands. The inland has a higer landscape with many hills and in the east along the boarder, there is a mountain range.

Then there is the rainforest in the south, even further north, there is the Sahara desert that continues into the Sahara and Chad. The capital city is called Abuja and it is located in the middle of the country. Nigeria is a home to numerous natural resources such as tin, lead, gas, peanut(grandnut), cash crop and most importantly the liquid gold, oil.

Despite the beauty of this country as well as the abudance of numerous naturall resources, many young Nigerian men strive to migrate to the America. Diverse reasons arrise migration.

Government is important to all countries, because a government protecets and rules his people but when a government begins to fail its people then the people seek for security else where.
