Ever since I was a little girl I dreamed of sitting behind the wheel and cruising around town in an expensive, sporty-looking automobile. I wouldn't settle for anything less than the best. It had to be something "hot" yet sophisticated, something fast, and something sporty. I could just picture myself going from car lot to car lot searching, admiring and test-driving that ultimate car. The only obvious question is "Which is the one for me?"

First, I would stop by the dealership where I saw this fancy-looking 40th anniversary edition, convertible corvette. This machine looked remarkable sitting on the showroom floor. Everyone that came in stopped to admire the exquisite detail of this vehicle. This beauty has a removable hard top, ride and handling control, adjustable leather seats, and ruby red metallic paint that shines as bright as the sun's reflection on new fallen snow.

However, the anticipation builds - like a child waiting to open that giant gift-wrapped box under the tree on Christmas morning.

I was waiting patiently wondering when will the time come. My anticipation grows and grows. Finally, the moment I've been waiting for finally comes as the salesman says, "Would you like to take this baby for a test-drive?" It was difficult keeping the eagerness out of my voice as I replied, "Yes, that would be nice."

You couldn't ask for a smoother more comfortable ride. The luxurious, plush leather seats seemed to wrap their arms around me as if I were part of its interior when I settled myself behind the wheel. Never feeling a bump or jar in the road was the real test of comfort - that's what you call great suspension. It felt like you were just floating over the road as if you were riding on a cloud.

As we cruised down the interstate I could feel the power beneath me. I thought to myself, "Let's see what it has under the hood." It's fast as lightning and can complete the quarter mile in less than a minute. If that's not fast enough then my only alternative for speed in transportation would be to take a 757.

I finally found it! This is the car for me. It has everything I've always wanted in a car. It's the car of my dreams! Now it's time to take the "mean machine" back to the car lot and bring myself back to reality. There are two advantages to dreaming: (1) You can have whatever your heart desires, and (2) It ends up being less expensive.
