What is the purpose of semi-automatic weaponry? Sure, there are some used for hunting, like the semi-automatic hunting and target shotguns, but what are most used for, like handguns and pistols? They are for the sole purpose of killing people. Some like to have them for target shooting - but why? Can we afford to take such chances in this country, with such troubled people around? We do not need target shooting using such weapons. It is a sport, and it is one we can do without.
Our country is full of angered people, sulking around, stuck in a job they despise and a nation full of hate. We have our good points, but all we hear about is who was killed today, and how that man murdered his wife - we hear very little about the good things, like the man in Northern Rhode Island who legally changed his name to Santa Clause, and works year round to help people.

English: French semi automatic rifle model of 1917...I never knew of him until my aunt told me about him. Why is so much negativity spread throughout the media? We like to hear about other people's problems; we like to imagine we have it bad. We bring depression and anger upon ourselves, and then, what do you know - these semi-automatic weapons we could buy so easily - well, they would just solve everything, wouldn't they? Kill the people I don't like, just like in those video games. Kill them quickly and easily with a couple of shots to the chest, or perhaps even to the head.
