Introduction:
There are three possible IT projects that can be performed at Global Computing:
1.Coding Performance Improvement project - Even though Global Computers is an IT company, they do not believe they use computing resources wisely because programs are not coded for efficiency.
2.Online Six Sigma Training Project - The project would attempt to lower training costs by moving training to an online format.
3.Web Site Redesign Project - The Company's corporate web site has grown and Global Computers is unsure that it meets current customer needs and is attracting new customers.
4.Wireless Technology Project - There have been great advancements in wireless technology and Global Computers is not taking advantage of them.
The overall goal of Global Computers is to sponsor the project that will make the biggest impact in benefit while minimizing the cost.

1.0Introduction/ Background
Global Computers Inc. provides a variety of computer-related goods and services to customers throughout the world. The corporate headquarters has more than 50,000 full-time employees and another 30,000 full and part-time employees are located throughout the world.
2.0Business Objective
To redesign the web site and implement features that current customers need and features that will draw new customers.
3.0 Current Situation and Problem/Opportunity Statement
Global Computers is concerned that its current website does not attract customers and it does not serve the need of the current customers.
4.0 Critical Assumption and Constraints
We assume we have full access to the company's web server, adequate working environment and full cooperation from all involved.
