  • Of limited use, but

At least has more substance than the others. Would be nice to know what it was all about, a bit of background work info.

April 22nd, 2006, this is a Saturday and as of today, the 19th hasn't happened yet! Bad spelling and grammar, sorry mate, you need to put something better than this up. The request is for essays, this only just meets the requirements of a short statement, that is entirely incorrect. bad bad bad.

OK, I hear the conviction in what you are saying, but where is the evidence for some of your statements. This did not receive a 100% mark, be honest ! Nuclear weapons are not nice, but to be taken seriously, you will need to put up a better argument than just pure outrage that this has happened. Look a bit deeper in to the reasons that these things were done.

  • Very very good

This is one of the best essays that I have seen written on this site and believe me I've read a few. Well done and nice to see someone put down a realistic mark as well, as opposed to the almost standard 98% that all the kids seem to say they score. Well done, you should be extremely proud of this piece of work, though would have been nice to see a bibliography.

Well written and a good argument in support of your views. Watch punctuation and some capitilization ( ie united states should be capitalized) this essay should score quite well.

But avoid slang language...' it owed a ton of money to France and even more to England'. Money comes in demoninations and not by weight. That said however, this is a well researched piece of work and imparts plenty of information. Good work !

  • Excellent overall

Reads really well until the last paragraph when you use some unusual turns of phrase for a paper that had, to that point, sounded highly academic. 'is in need for some dying help' and 'You can only guess, about what the future holds in store as regards for gangs and prisons' are not ways that I can relate to in writing. However that said, this was a highly interesting and informative piece of writing.

  • Well written for the most...

Well researched piece of work. Watch tenses, you slip often from past to present tense or use them incorrectly in elements of speech. The civil war did not start because of slavery, its abolition was just one of many outcomes from it. However, overall I enjoyed your essay.

As can be seen this has the same thing printed over and over.I'm not entirely sure that this is as true as it claims to be, can you prove that you have written this ? The over copying of it leads me to be very suspicious of its authenticity.

And sorry, doesn't really tell me anything about Dickens. As said by others, pad it out a bit with some facts and some information. If writing facts, be specific also do not generalise. 'His early life was not as easy as perceived' by whom? Have another go and try to make it say something to the reader.

  • Too short to say anything

This mini essay seems to rely on lots of garnered assumptions that have come about like folk lore over the years. Anti-slavery aims came about as a necessity well into the war years when the North looked like it was losing the war, but was not directly the reason for it starting. This war was purely over Union on the part of Lincoln. He would have allowed slavery in the southern states to acheive this one goal, whatever his personal feelings on slavery were, to maintain a unified union. A subject such as this requires at least 2000 words and needs to concentrate more on the causes and less on giving a 600 word account of the entire civil war.

Lots of information and well researched. For someone who takes the time to read this "dissertation" length piece of work, they will come away with a good overall impression of the problems and challenges of the people, that led up to the rising.Would have been nice to see a bibliography of where your information came from. Be careful with spelling and puctuation, also watch your tenses.

  • Good as study notes.

Well researched and well put together in a small amount of space. Be careful of generalisations such as "Everyone was terrified of the Third Republic" it doesn't really say anything and can't possibly be true that this was the feeling of everyone. Maybe the majority or a lot of people felt this way, much better to have proper figures, though fear is a hard one to get information for. However, a very acceptable piece of work.
