Scenario 1: What IT recommendations would you make for Sarah’s Flower Designs?Sarah’s Flower Designs should up-grade their current system to a newer system, installing a computer system that includes; a mini-computer and workstation programming. Investing in a few hand-held computers, which are also called personal digital assistants (PDA’s). A mini-computer program would let Sarah’s Flower Designs house their client information and order histories and bill their customers electronically. A workstation program or a PC Station would enable users to serf the Internet, play games, photo manager software, instant messenger, private e-mail and office suites software, multimedia software and so on. A PC station is a host without a CPU, hard disk, and one host can support ten PC station terminals. Each user can simultaneously share the resources of host independently and securely.

SBI’s 300 full-time employees and four satellite offices located throughout the southwestern United States, a mainframe can handle the financial consulting organization.

Mini-computers will permit SBI to obtain a new Web-based customer ordering system to provide its clients with access to their portfolio information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Find a system that will help expand the Web-sites capacity and general business applications.
