Is life really like a box of chocolates? In my case, life isn't sweet all of the time. Do you ever find yourself overcome by stress? 75 percent of the general population experiences at least "some stress" every two weeks. This is a proven fact from the National Health Interview Survey. Stress in my life brings me to the point of being angry constantly over everyday situations. These situations may not be big, because it doesn't take much to push me to the edge. My daily activities keep me very busy. Keeping a steady girlfriend while playing football, and also maintaining a weekend job drives me as far as I can go. A person can only do so much. Even though stress can drive you to a level of insanity, I can still handle the load and remain on top.

Having a steady girlfriend isn't always bad. Katie, my girlfriend of 2 years is not only my girlfriend, she is my best friend.

Throughout all of the stressful times that I go through, I can always rely on her to be there for me. doesn't stress me out, it just that I feel I have to always be there for her. I know that doing all of these side activities intervenes with our relationship, but it also helps. As they say "absence makes the heart grow fonder." I know that I will be with Katie for the rest of my life, so I know that when I have opportunities that I want to take up, I do so.

Football is a prime example of an opportunity that I have taken upon. I strive to do my best in everything that I do in life. This sport requires time and effort. Time is something that I don't always have,
