I think just a bad idea
College students mess around with computers instead of paying attention. High schoolers will even do worse. pencil and paper should be fine for in class. Then they can go home or go to computer lab, if they have one, and type stuff up. Sometimes technology can be great, but other times it can just complicate things. I think in a classroom of high schoolers it would complicate more than help.
