Very personal
Looking for essays on Salinger's novel, I assumed this one, through its question, would be a study of chapters and more of a personal response to the character of Holden instead of the writer. therefore, probably the question should be rephrased as this is more of a reflection upon personal life and experiences in parallel to Holden's life, than an actual study of the novel by Salinger. Although this essay can be worked on by adding perhaps a character analysis of Holden and his psychological influences, the creator's 'personal experience' section could be saved for the conclusion.- 09/08/2003
