There was a small girl whose parents drank and did drugs. The father would beat on the wife at night while the little girl sadly sat behind the couch. The parents had never taken the girl to Church and she knew nothing of or about God. For years the little girl watched her parents scream, yell and beat upon one another. Until one day when her father took a gun and killed his wife, and then himself, while the whole time the girl watched from behind the couch. Soon after, a wonderful family adopted the little girl and took her to Sunday school. The little girl walked in and saw a picture of Jesus on the cross-pasted wall. She looked up at the teacher with wondering eyes and said, "I don't know who that man is up on that cross, but I know he must have got off." The teacher looked down at her, with a funny expression on her face.
