Excellent Essay
This really gave me a good insight into what Aristotle was thinking. You should check out the writings of Sophocles who writes on similar topics and provides a contrasting view!- 29/08/2009

More explanation
Would have liked more detailed explanation of labour policies which led to the economic slump and downturn during the 1970s. Otherwise very informative.- 18/04/2009

Too Narrative
Solid facts in there but I feel it sounds too much like you're telling a story rather then getting straight to the point. This essay probably could have been cut down to around 1000 words if you were more concise. In addition I think you need to organise your paragraphs, you have 3 main reasons and over 15 paragraphs? You could have joined many of the paragraphs together, because what you've ended up with is a bunch of weak paragraphs rather then just 3 or 4 solid and concise paragraphs.- 16/06/2005

Agreed
I completely agree with you glengem, you can not simply say he is not a hero because of deeds 'unlike' a hero. I suggest you take a look at Campbells Monomyth Cycle, it is a general pattern of adventures that mythological heros encounter during their quest which is largely used in many modern stories such as Starwars and The Lord of the Rings. Odysseus' adventures fit quite neatly in this cycle and so I think you should reconsider your answer.- 12/06/2005

Nice Job
well structured, informative and backed up with evidence. If I had to criticize it, the conclusion could be improved to wrap it all up. All in all well done!- 01/08/2004
