The Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger was a very popular novel that was never made into a motion picture by any director. For various reasons Salinger does not want it to be made. If we had the opportunity to make it into a motion picture we would try to make it in more of a nineties version by changing the plot in some ways. One idea we had was to make an original version and follow the stories dialogue. We believe that many people would enjoy and original version of the novel. The only difficulty is that since Holden we would have to be going back and forth into his thoughts and his actual actions tolls most of the novel. Another idea that we had was to create a Rap version of Catcher in the Rye and call it The Rapper in the Hood starring Eminem as Holden other actors would include 2-Pac Sakur as Stradlater, Dr Dre as Ackley, Brittany Murphy as Sally and many more.
