Anti-Semitism is hostility and discrimination towards Jews as a religious, racial, or ethnic group. The word Anti-Semitism though is quite inadequate for the way it is used. Anti is Greek word for against, and Semite is a person who is a descendant from Shem. Arabs are also known to be prominently 'anti-Semitic', but they come from Shem themselves. So anti Semitic is not quite the proper phrase, a more appropriate one would be anti-Jewish.

Anti-Semitism is not just a word to describe biased feelings. It is used as a term to describe all kinds of hate and suffering the Jews had to endure in the last one thousand years from numerous amounts of people. Some modern anti Jewish literature can be found at the American Nazi party web page, www.americannaziparty.com. It is solely anti Semitic because it is all hate, the only reason that they have and use to try and justify their hate breading is by saying ,

"It is a very serious Struggle that we are involved in for the very existence of our White Nation of people."1.
