Marichela Schembri Form 4.1

You get home and find your mobile which you had left behind you. You have four unread messages. The first two were fine but when you read your third SMS you freeze!

It was Sunday morning and as my family and I always do, we went to visit my grandparents. While I was there I noticed that I had left my mobile at home. I felt on pins and needles without my mobile and I longed to go home. The time seemed to have stopped and our visit was like eternity.

At last my father woke up and announced that it was time to go back home. I never felt so glad before because I was lost without my mobile. When we arrived home I ran as fast as my legs could carry me towards my bedroom. There was my mobile on my bed. My presumptions were correct.

I had received four messages from my friends while I was not there. I read the first message from Claire. She confirmed that she was coming with us to the cinema that afternoon. I replied to her message with a smiley, meaning that I was glad that she was going to join us. The other message was from Angelica. She forgot her notebook at school and she wanted to know what we had for homework.

While I was walking towards my desk to search for my notebook and in order not to waste any time, I decided to read the third message I had received. When I had read half of the message I froze and felt as if a thunder had hit me on the head. I was not sure whether I had just had a bad dream. My legs were stuck to the ground.
