INSTALLATION: The CableNut Adjuster is compatible with Windows 95/98/98SE/ME/NT/2000/XP each CCS file is tagged with an Operating System specific tag to show what Operating System it is compatible for. Explanation of specific terms are found below.

Locate the CCS sub-folder in the CableNut folder.

(This can either be done by the desktop shortcut, the start menu shortcut, or by locating the CableNut install folder.) ------------------------------------------------------ 2. Run the CableNut Adjuster program.

(Adjuster.exe - shortcuts are on the desktop, and in the start menu.) ------------------------------------------------------ 3. Select 'Open Custom Settings File' from the file menu.

(This will load a specific CCS file into the Adjuster.) ------------------------------------------------------ 4. Select the correct CCS file that corresponds to your Internet connection.

(All of the CableNut CCS files are located in the CCS sub-folder.) ------------------------------------------------------ 5. Click open on your selected CCS file.

------------------------------------------------------ 6. The values for the specific CCS will show.

------------------------------------------------------ 7. Press the 'Save to Registry' button.

------------------------------------------------------ 8. This will install the selected CableNut tweak file.

------------------------------------------------------ 9. Restart your system.

(A restart is needed after every change in the Adjuster.) ------------------------------------------------------ 10. Your system is now tweaked for optimal Internet speed.

(You can optionally install an CCS file, by right clicking on the CCS file, and going to 'Apply CCS Settings') ------------------------------------------------------ UNINSTALLING THE CABLENUT SOFTWARE: The CableNut software can easily be removed from the system a couple of ways. You can run the uninst-cablenut.exe file found in the installation folder. You can go to Windows ADD/REMOVE in the control panels, and select it from there. You can also remove it from the shortcut in the CableNut start menu folder.
