Boom! An estimated 15,000 tons of TNT is delivered to the city of Hiroshima, Japan. This was the first of the two bombs set off to the country of Japan during the World War Two. The impact of the bombs is considered one of the biggest impacts on society yet. Controversy still exists about dropping the two atomic bombs on Japan. Killing 100,000 or more innocent people just to have an influence in war. The atomic bomb is considered the most powerful mass destructive weapon since the 1940ÃÂs. The Creation of the bomb took approximately 63 years ago. (Rodreyer, Smith) The creation of the bomb was considered by many scientists during the 1930ÃÂs and 1940ÃÂs. Mainly because It was thought that another force would be creating a mass destructive device similar to what the scientists had in mind.
