Christians and Muslims Throughout the existence of both Christianity and Islamic religions, many beliefs and traditions are both the same and different. By having the same God, one would believe that the forgiveness of sins would be alike; or even the same thought on a particular sin as adultery. Where as Christian's trust that forgiveness comes with a repent of ones sins, Muslims believe that God will judge the person fairly, because the two religions are unique.

Everyone is born clean, with no sins. In "The Sermon on the Mount" it states, "whosoever looketh on a woman t lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart." That is saying if a man wants to have sex with woman that is not his spouse, then he has already committed a sin in the heart. The evil acts of sin are what stop an individual from making the trip to heaven.

The scripture also says, "if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell." God is trying to help the people stay away from eternal damnation by plucking the object that sinned out. Another way of dodging hell is to sincerely ask for forgiveness of one's sins, and that person shall be saved. The Christian God is forgiving and will grant anyone a pass to heaven if they are truly sorry for their sins. Even such a sin as adultery is excusable to the Christian God, and he will not just judge the person after they repent.
