This model has a very wide range, much better then the other 900-MHz model. . It offers a range that allows you to venture into the yard or even the neighbor's. Also the talk time on this phone is approximately 6 hours before it needs to be charged. The Vtech VT9241 (2 line) 900-MHz analog has a talk time of 7 hours. Also this phone includes a data port for a fax or modem, which the Uniden Exs 9965 (2 line) 900-MHz Dss model does not offer.

From personal experience, I feel the Uniden Exs 9965 (2 line) 900-MHz Dss model is a better phone. I enjoy using my Uniden Exs 9965 (2 line) 900-MHz Dss model, because I'm able to see who's calling me when I'm in the middle of a called when someone try's to ring in. I have freedom to roam around the house and yard while chatting on the phone. Not, like with the other model phone. Even though, the Uniden Exs 9965 (2 line) 900-MHz Dss model cost more I feel it's an excellent choose out of the two cordless phones.
