R.P.R "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets"

"Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" by J.K. Rowling is another award winning book from the popular series about Harry and his friends. The book has been made into a film that will premiere in November. The intent of my essay is to look at the female characters in the male dominated book and find out which one is the strongest.
When Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was built by the four wizards (Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Slytherin, and Hufflepuff) there were many arguments between them. Slytherin being the greedy and selfish one decided to build a secret chamber for himself and in it he placed a huge serpent to protect it. Only an heir to Slytherin is able to open the chamber. Harry Potter begins his second year at Hogwarts and the chamber of secrets has mysteriously opened.

English: The original "flying" car as it's used in...Harry is being accused of being the heir of Slytherin because he can speak "parseltongue"(he can talk to snakes). Harry, with help from Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger try to prove that he is not Slytherin's heir and to find out who is and who is the cause of the attacks.
The way in which I intend to address my task is to look at the three female characters personalities and they way they act in a crisis. I will also look to see which one is the most stereotypical.
Hermione, Harry's good friend and the female lead in the book is a little miss perfect. She is not liked by all of her classmates because she knows the answer to the teachers questions:
"Now, who can tell me the properties of a mandrake?
To nobody's surprise Hermione's hand was first into the air."
Thus making her loved by all...
