This movie was produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Gore Verbinski. The main casts were: Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow, Orlando Bloom as Will Turner, Keira Knigthley as Elizabeth Swann, Tom Hollander as Cutler Beckett and Bill Nighy as Davy Jones.

Captain Jack Sparrow and the Captain of the Ghostly Flying Dutchman, Davy Jones have a score to settle. Jack Owes Jones a blood debt. To pay his way out of this debt, he must find a chest containing something that is very important to Jones (His Heart), or else he will be doomed to eternal damnation and become a slave to Jones in the afterlife. The problem is that Jack is running out of time and Jones is impatient.

Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann, who were in the middle of their Wedding Plans were forced by the lord of the east India trading company, Cutler Beckett to join Jack on his adventure.

Will and Elizabeth were jailed by Cutler Beckett for helping Captain Jack escape. So Becket offers will the chance to save his fiancée's life if he can find the key which unlocks the chest that contains Jones' heart, before Jack does.

Two Lords, who want the content of a chest and were willing to do whatever it takes to get it, this is basically the storyline.

The characters were very well played by the cast. Captain Jack's character, played by Johnny Depp was supposed to be the main character but had very short scenes. The best character was Davy Jones, played by Bill Nighy. Davy Jones was a human/sea creature with a beard of moving octopus tentacles (quite scary). I was very impressed with the Computer Graphics Imaging (CGI). The fight scenes were not impressive because it was not spectacular,
