Why I want to be an educator

Lawyers, Doctors, Politicians, and engineers only have one thing in common; someone taught them how to become who they are today. No matter what position someone holds in society, everyone has progressed to where they are in life because they had a teacher. In the dictionary, a teacher is defined as one who instructs, but in reality, a teacher is so much more. Choosing teaching as a profession is my first step to changing the world.

School becomes a child's second home and in that second home, many people come together to mold and shape a child's life. We would like to call those "many people," teachers. Whether we like it or not, these are some of the people who make us the person we are today. A teacher alone, touches many lives. A profession of a teacher is not only instructing. It's the opportunity to open up a whole new world to students. Also, a teacher can help a child emotionally. Many students tend to look at teachers for support also. They become our mentors, and sometimes, have the chance to change a students' life. Knowing that I could have the opportunity to make a difference in another person's life makes the profession of teaching even more appealing to me.

Education is an absolute necessity for success. It simply provides an enhanced future. In order communicate effectively with other people, who might not have the same distinct points of views than theirs, people need to be educated. Education has become an essential possession of life. Without an education there is no simplicity in the world.
