Every self made leader had to have observed a person in the role of a leader, in order to learn how to become one. I learned a few steps to help me become a better leader, the steps are active listening, setting goals, conflict management, meaningful meetings, and characteristics of effective team members. Following these steps will help become a leader people will love to follow or work with. Now I will go into further details to help you get a full understanding behind the steps I just learned.
The first step I stated was active listening; active listening brings about change in people and helps them to solve problems. By paying close attention to the details people are able to interpret problems well giving sound advice. There are three main steps I active listening, first step listen for the total meaning of the information, respond to the feelings of the in order to show that you care and are truly listening, and put yourself in the other person shoes in order to better assess the situation and give fair solutions to the persons problems.

Try to get a full understanding of what's wrong with them respond with full thoughts and make sure they see that you truly care.
Second step I stated was setting goals, When setting goals one must be S.M.A.R.T. That means make that your goals are: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time specific. Sometimes goals set do not go as planned, that's why it's always good to have a plan b if plan a do not go as planned. It's important to have goals for yourself...
