How to write a cover letter

Dear Systems Administrator,

My letter of inquiry is in reference to the Information Systems Internship. I am currently a student on the dean's list at Seattle University's Albers School of Business and Economics with a major in E-Commerce and Information Systems.

I feel I would be an asset to the organization due to the fact that I specialize in creating and implementing high-performance information systems strategies that directly impact the growth and profitability of large information systems organizations. In addition to my knowledge of business processes, I also offer proficiency in information systems software, e-commerce development and cutting-edge technologies. I am also bilingual in speaking Punjabi, and have a great deal of experience with local community organizations such as the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. In my many years of college and work experience, I have gained many people skills and business principles. I feel this opportunity at YWCA will help me grow as an individual and an Information Systems engineer.
