Introduction

Today there are several established sandwich companies, which were initially started with minimum capital compared to the past decades. Potbelly is one such sandwich company which was started in 1977 and over the years, Potbelly has earned excellent reputation from customers for its quality services rendered thus far.

Potbelly has several stores in U.S and will be opening many more as the customers demand for Potbelly snacks is on the rise.

With the above strength in product line, a small business plan with the name "Sandwich Starter" is proposed to be set up with minimum capital at an appropriate location, targeting a pool of collective customers which includes school children, collegians, employees and elderly parents. "Sandwich Starter" also proposes to operate through a web site for free home delivery of sandwiches while pricing would be within a range of $2-$3; which is quite affordable and reasonable to run a sub shop. The details of pricing, business strategy and an overall view of competitive sandwich market are discussed herein.
