Executive Summary

Our Company, Geyonz, is an American leather goods and apparels company that produces and sells handbags, luggage, briefcases, accessories, and apparels for both women and men. We are in the industry of Luxury goods. The reason for why we choose this market is that we see a great prospect in the future. Our company is successful in domestic market and now is considering expand to international market. After we carefully evaluate the four potential international markets: China, Japan, India, and South Korea, we finally decide to enter Chinese market based on its great economic factor and market potential.

Overview of Luxury Goods Market

The USA has become one of the world's largest exporters. Last year, the USA finished third in exporting. The country shipped $1.287 trillion worth of goods around the globe. Canada is the USA's largest trade partner and China is the second-largest trader partner. According to Bain & Company's luxury goods worldwide market study, the worldwide luxury goods market poised to surge 10 percent in 2011 as growth in China and mature markets increases.

Many U.S. luxury companies such as Coach and Ralph Lauren has opened stores overseas and exported their luxury goods worldwide. Global luxury goods sales have continued growing during the past few years. In 2011 the sales increased 10% to 191 billion euros. Even during the financial crisis, the sales rate still kept growing.

Our company is based in Chicago, Illinois. We have a group of 5 designers who are responsible for the designs of all products.
