Great Clips mobile hair salon has been named as one of the most successful hair salons today. This service is to open an additional brand extension of mobile hair salons which will be operated utilizing current Great Clips facilities. The following paragraphs will identify the appropriate place and promotional strategy that should be used in the development of the marketing plan, develop an initial sales promotion schedule, create an advertising plan, and analyze the impact of channel management decisions for our service. It will also discuss, in detail, a budget plan and the quantifiable elements the will be used to evaluate, monitor, and control the effectiveness of the marketing plan.

One of the initial sales promotion schedules that our organization will introduce will be through the media. According to Wikipedia (2006) sales promotions are non-personal promotional efforts that are designed to have an immediate impact on sales. We will have coupons, discounts, free product samples, and rebates for products purchased.

Not only will the consumers that use our service benefit, but our employees will also enjoy the services. The organization will offer a price deal for family packages and hospital discounts. Once a mailing list is created, we will send potential consumers a variety of coupons and rebates. The current customers will also have the opportunity to use other coupons that the organization has to offer. These rebates and offers are vital to our advertising plan not just to obtain our targeted market but to entice repeat business. Our message in our promotion is that Great Clips is not just another hair studio. We are a friendly family-oriented business with customer service as our number one priority.
