Analyze ThisHagar's murderous rage to kill Milkman and Guitar's involvement in the Seven Days are closely tied but there are some differences. They both have murder on mind but Hagar never goes through with killing Milkman and ends up giving up on him. Also the Seven Days are concealed with their plans unlike Hagar who is very open with what she is going to do.
Hagar loves Milkman so much she can't live without him, but she realizes that not even she could have him if he is dead. Although, there is no evidence that Guitar has committed a murder the same rage is there. Guitar hates white people so much that he would take an innocence life because of a wrong doing of someone else that has killed or committed a crime against a black person. Guitar doesn't see that he is doing the same thing, that he is stooping to there level.

Temple mégalithique Hagar QimWhen the Seven Days are about to kill someone they picked at random the victim doesn't know that they are going to die until the second before hand when the killer whispers to them their day has come. However, Hagar attempts to kill Milkman numerous times so he see what is going to happen even before Hagar shows up.
The thought patter of the two parties are quite similar. The Seven Days see themselves as bringing justice to the world but in fact are just contributing to the chaos.
They both don't see what they are is an act out of selfishness and that they are criminals and could be tried for murder and attempt of a murder. Neither one of them have a good logical reason for what they are doing. It's not like Hagar has never been dumped before but somehow its different with Milkman. She has been with him so long she grew accustom to his presence. She is also getting older and saw Milkman as a possible person to be married to before nobody wants to have her. She sees Milkman as away to money which reveals her materialist side. Although she is not hurting for anything because Pilate and Reba give her everything material she wants and all the love and leadership she needs.
