The text I chose to do is an autobiography on Marilyn Mansion with Neil Strauss entitled The Long Hard Road Out Of Hell. This book is very sick and twisted, it is a very perverse and politically incorrect book it says things that most people are afraid to. He tells things about himself that most people would be extremely ashamed of because some of the things are extremely disgusting. This book would most likely sicken anyone who is not a fan of Marilyn Manson because I am a very big fan of his.

Marilyn Manson was born as Brian Warner. His father beat him as a child for just being a kid and not doing any work. At first he did not want to be a singer in a band he wanted to be an author but with only one story published when he was nineteen he was told he had a good voice and should start a band.

The band first started out as Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids. The name was soon shortened and became the now famous and infamous Marilyn Manson. They are one of the worlds most popular and hated bands in the world with influence from the masters of shock rock Ozzy Osbourne and Alice Copper.

This book was a New York times best seller the book has caused a lot of controversy around the world just like Marilyn Mansons music it is a very interesting and is sick that you just want t o keep reading. I only recommend this for people with open minds. The book is in order from his childhood to the last day of his 1996 Antichrist Superstar tour. The most important moment in his life was when he was in Christian school, he took a photo of what appeared to be a angel in t he clouds and the teachers said it was a hoax and it was blasphemes. He clams this to be his day of turning against the Christian religion. The writers life was so sick and twisted that it just kept you intrigued because he want into so much detail.

The character I would describe as a sick and twisted individual and that is why I am so interested in him and his life.
